About the work:
- Work both individually and together with team members to complete custom job orders.
- Use basic hand tools (hammer, knives, wrenches, measuring tapes, T-squares, etc.) and power tools (drills, sanders, grinders) to perform detail work specific to each project.
- Use measuring tapes and T-squares to mark off specific measurements and either cut or apply adhesives.
- Operate manual production machinery
- Use hammers and other machinery to install simple and complex mechanical fasteners

Requirements:
- A demonstrated history of successful work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or manual labor environment.
- A mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn – we are ready to teach you about conveyor belting!

Description
We have an immediate opening for a motivated Customer Service Representative for our St. Louis Headquarters located in Earth City, Missouri.

- Work with distributors or original equipment manufacturers to serve existing customers on appropriate product recommendations.
- Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes / orders using the Microsoft D365 F&O Enterprise Resource (ERP) system.
- Work closely with Sales Operations/Customer Service Managers, Plant Managers, and Product Group Managers to better serve customer needs.
- Build strong working relationships with customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure overall customer satisfaction through professional customer support.
Requirements:
- Self-starter that is as effective working alone as they are working on a team
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of a company and with customers
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in a Microsoft environment; working primarily with customers through email and telephone

This role involves building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers to expand accounts and gain new business. 40-50% overnight travel is required. Please note that we are currently only considering candidates who live within the assigned territory.
